Direction of training

The purpose of the educational program "Law Enforcement" training of specialists capable of fulfilling the tasks of developing the rule of law, providing legal protection for citizens and legal entities, shaping the legal consciousness and legal culture of the population.

The purpose of the educational program

-                                    Compliance with international educational standards: subject descriptors, cycle and level of training (for example, Dublin descriptors, requirements of accreditation agencies and expectations of strategic partners);

-                                    Orientation of the program to the need of law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan for specialists with high-quality education;

-                                    Compliance with the principles of constructive coherence: the graduate model, goals, planned learning outcomes, assessment and teaching methods;

Support of integration processes with the latest scientific research and technological innovations in the international legal sphere.

- law enforcement and enforcement activities;

LO - 1. Apply knowledge from the fields of philosophy, psychology, sociology, as well as natural sciences and social sciences and humanities in law enforcement.

LO - 2. Defines the qualification of criminal and other offenses.

LO - 3. Demonstrates the skills of disclosure and investigation of criminal offenses, uses the knowledge of conducting administrative proceedings.

LO - 4. Design scientific developments on the problems of law enforcement.

LO - 5.  Conduct legal advice, protect the interests of individuals and legal entities, enforce court decisions.

LO - 6. Conduct legal propaganda, develop the legal culture and legal awareness of the society.

LO - 7. Use mediation and other alternative methods in resolving criminal cases and civil disputes.

LO - 8. Designs regulatory legal acts, interprets the current legislation.

LO - 9. Design legal documents using knowledge of office work.

LO - 10. Use information and communication technologies in law enforcement.

LO – 11. Use knowledge of forensic expertise in criminal, civil and administrative processes.

LO – 12. Apply the basics of operational-search activity in legal practice.

Strategies and teaching methods:

The strategy of the educational program assumes, along with the traditional ones, the use of the latest methods, techniques and forms of educational technologies in the learning process, such as remote forms of lectures, seminars, debates and discussions, conducting practical classes using innovative learning technologies (case studies, coaching, creative groups, the method of "reflection" , etc.), rational and creative use of pedagogical technologies and information sources (multimedia training programs, electronic textbooks, TV and Internet technologies).

The key idea of the strategy is to create conditions for training specialists in the field of law that meet modern requirements, to strengthen the university's position as a personnel and resource complex in the market of educational services in the West Kazakhstan region, to improve the material and technical base and internal infrastructure of the university.

The relevance of the educational program is due to the reduction of the risk of non-demand for graduates by increasing the level of professional education to the level of the requirements of the employer.

Monitoring and evaluation of learning outcomes:

The educational program 6B04203 - "Law Enforcement activity" provides a wide range of different forms of monitoring and evaluation of learning outcomes: - current and boundary control (survey in the classroom, testing on the topics of the discipline, control works, protection of independent creative works, discussions, trainings, colloquiums, essays, etc.); - intermediate certification (testing on the sections of the discipline, oral, written and combined exam, project protection, self - assessment, protection of reports on practices); - final state certification
