In order to increase the legal culture and develop cognitive activity of students in the field of intellectual property, organized by the Department of Justice of the West Kazakhstan region on October 25 – the day of the Republic, on November 3, 2025 on the basis of the West Kazakhstan innovation and Technology University "Know Your Rights and protect!"the regional legal forum-game is ahead. Interactive forum-the game included elements of legal blitz, case tournament, AI-court simulation, QR-case solving and media debate.
The purpose of the forum is to improve the legal awareness and law enforcement skills of young people, to form a culture of legal application in the field of intellectual property and artificial intelligence, to demonstrate the combination of law and digital technology. Tasks: - to increase students ' knowledge of intellectual property, copyright and AI technologies; - to form the responsibility of young people to recognize and protect their rights; - to discuss practical issues in the field of AI and legal regulation; - to form a platform for mutual partnership between the University and judicial authorities, to develop a legal culture.
The forum was attended by teams of students of higher educational institutions that train specialists in the educational program "law" in the region. Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University was represented by a team of students of 2-3 courses "JustTeam", which showed high qualifications.
As a result, from among the teams participating in the forum, the team of our university "JustTeam" reached the final with the Team "Themis", where the question "artificial intelligence is an opportunity or a threat? at The Debate Tournament on the topic "artificial intelligence" strongly argued the dangers of artificial intelligence.
The team of makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University" JustTeam "was awarded in the Nomination" Best Media defender " and a certificate in the amount of 50,000 tenge.
