On October 1, 2019, another traditional event was held dedicated to the specialty "State and local government." The purpose of the event was the adoption of new students in the ranks and teach them as much as possible, including how to spend time correctly within the walls of the University. Students of 1,2,3,4 specialty courses took part in the events. The curator of the GMU-21 group congratulated the 1st year students with the beginning of the school year and wished the 4th year students good luck, after which the students introduced themselves and their groups and shared interesting stories from student everyday life.One of the organizers of the evening was Magzhan Smagul, who urged 1st year students to be activists and speak at various events and consecrated that 2020, by order of the President, is the year of “volunteers”. At the end, students of the GMU-21 group presented gifts to students of the 1st to 4th year and passed the baton of evening organizations to 1st-year students
